Google lays off 200 'Core' employees, shifts some jobs to India: Report

Google has laid off at least 200 employees from its 'Core' teams and will move some roles to India and Mexico, CNBC reported. 'Core' teams are responsible for building the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products and protecting users' online safety, Google's website says. It includes the Python developer team, technical infrastructure, security foundation and other units.
