Google loses 15-year legal battle to UK couple, fined ₹21,800 crore

UK-based Shivaun and Adam Raff won a 15-year-long legal battle against Google after the company pushed the couple's price comparison website Foundem down in search results. Europe's top court ruled Google must pay a £2 billion (₹21,800 crore) fine for abusing the market dominance of its shopping comparison service. Google appealed against the fine but the court rejected its appeals.
