Google Maps launches AI-powered 'Ask Maps', 'Immersive Navigation'

Google on Thursday introduced "Ask Maps", a new conversational experience that answers complex and real-world questions about locations. It also launched "Immersive Navigation", an updated navigation experience that brings a 3D view, road details, and natural voice guidance. Both features are powered by Gemini AI. Ask Maps has been rolled out in US and India on Android and iOS.
