Google misstated emissions from planned data centres in UK: Report

Developers working for Google significantly misstated carbon emissions from its two proposed data centres in UK, The Guardian reported. The developers reportedly compared one year's emissions from the planned data centres with UK's carbon budget over five years, resulting in an underestimation. The report said a similar error was seen in documents for a data centre planned by Greystoke.
