Google ordered to pay nearly $2 billion in Swedish antitrust case
A Swedish court has ordered Google to pay price-comparison platform Klarna $2 billion in an antitrust lawsuit. The lawsuit claimed that Google abused its dominance in the comparison market by favouring its services. The court dismissed most of Klarna's claims, which sought $8.2 billion, with the Judge noting that it was the largest claim ordered in a Swedish competition case.
