Google Photos' new look unveiled, to begin rolling out in coming weeks

Google Photos unveiled a new look for its app with an updated library tab layout to show a grid that users can quickly filter by type (albums, shared albums, favourites, on-device folders) and then sort. A new "import photos" section will help users easily copy photos from other services. The updates will begin rolling out in the coming weeks.
