Google Play down for thousands of Android users worldwide

Google Play, the app store available on all Android handsets, is currently facing a global outage, as per outage tracking website Downdetector. Both app and the web version of Google Play are down and over 2,500 people reported the same on Downdetector at around 10:35 am. Users are facing issues with downloads, followed by search issues.
