Google replacing its Assistant with Gemini AI in cars

Google is bringing its Gemini AI assistant to cars with Google built-in, replacing Google Assistant. The update will enable more natural interactions, letting drivers speak freely, get real-time information and ask for things like nearby restaurants or playlists. It can also summarise messages and help users reply with context. The rollout will begin in the US with English support.
