Google reveals Android 17 with AI tools, security upgrades

Google has introduced Android 17 with new AI-powered tools, and security upgrades for smartphones. The update includes a redesigned emoji set, a "Pause Point" digital wellbeing feature, improved Quick Share and AirDrop support, iPhone-to-Android switching, and stronger security controls. It will first roll out on select Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy devices before expanding later this year.
