Google sued by app store Aptoide for alleged monopoly

Portugal-based app store Aptoide has sued Google, alleging that the latter shuts out rival Android app stores by monopolising app distribution and violates US antitrust laws. The lawsuit seeks an injunction against Google's anticompetitive practices and an unspecified triple in damages. Aptoide suffers irreparable harm as Google deprives rivals of exclusive content from top developers, it said.
