Google tests car crash detection in Android Q: Report

Google is testing car crash detection functionality for its Pixel devices, XDA Developers reported. A string within new Google app named 'Safety Hub', featured in Android Q Beta 3, suggests the function will "automatically launch an alert activity when the device detects you are in a car crash," the report stated. Unclear how detection would be achieved, the report added.
