Google tests quick access emoji bar in Gboard; to add 117 new emoji

Google announced that it has started testing a new quick access emoji bar in Gboard which will be rolled out to all Android users in the coming months. It added that later this year 117 emoji will be available with the release of Android 11. This will include the emoji approved by the Unicode Consortium, the group behind emoji releases.
