Google to add AI tool to Gmail that will write emails for users

Google on Wednesday announced it'd add an AI feature to Gmail that will let users generate emails based on prompts. Giving a demonstration of the 'Help me write' feature, CEO Sundar Pichai asked Gmail to write an email to get refund for a cancelled flight. Users will also be able to ask Gmail to 'formalise', 'elaborate' or 'shorten' AI-generated emails.
