Google to launch anti-misinformation project in India

Google's Jigsaw subsidiary will launch an anti-misinformation project in India to curb the spread of misleading information online. The experiment will use "prebunking" videos on YouTube and other social media sites to counter false claims before they get far. Viewers will be asked to fill in a short multiple-choice questionnaire to measure what they have learned about misinformation.
