Google to pay $90 mn to settle case with developers over app store

Google has agreed to pay $90 million to settle a case with app developers for allegedly violating antitrust laws and harming developers through app store policies. It allegedly used its deal with smartphone makers, technical barriers and revenue-sharing agreements to close the app ecosystem. Google has said it would put $90 million in a fund to support certain developers.
