Google to shift Pixel production from China to Vietnam: Report

Google is planning to move its 'Pixel' smartphone production from China to Vietnam beginning this year, seeking to build a low-cost supply chain in Southeast Asia, news outlet Nikkei reported. This comes amid rising labour costs in China and US-China trade tensions. Google reportedly plans to shift most of its US-bound hardware out of China, including smart speaker 'Google Home'.
