Google India on Tuesday announced that it is discontinuing its annual online shopping event, the Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) from this year. Launched in December 2012, GOSF partnered with Indian e-commerce portals to let users buy products on discounted prices for a day. The move comes in the wake of various Indian e-commerce companies hosting similar events, Google stated.
