Google will not use Apple-style liquid glass for Pixel: Official

Google's President for Android Ecosystem Sameer Samat recently dismissed online suggestions that it might adopt Apple's liquid glass interface. "Not happening! You're all wild," Samat said, responding to a social media mockup of an Android device with a liquid glass design, 9to5Google reported. Apple's Liquid Glass, launched in June 2025, emphasises layered translucency and floating UI elements.
