Google-parent Alphabet reaches $2 tn m-cap for 1st time since 2021

Google-parent Alphabet's market capitalisation crossed the $2 trillion mark on Friday for the first time since November 2021. This comes as Alphabet's shares jumped after the company announced a $70 billion stock buyback and its first-ever dividend. The company reported better-than-expected revenue of $80.54 billion for the quarter ended March.
