Google's Project Vaani to collect language samples from 773 Indian districts

Google launched Project Vaani in partnership with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) on Monday. Under the partnership, Google aims to build an artificial intelligence/machine learning model to collect language samples from 773 districts across India. According to the official announcement, Project Vaani aims to ensure the collected and produced data will be open-source.
