Google's Sundar Pichai approved illegal digital ad deal with Facebook, allege US states

Google CEO Sundar Pichai personally approved "an illegal agreement" with Facebook to manipulate the digital advertising market, as per a court filing by US states. Meta COO Sheryl Sandberg had called it "a big deal strategically" in a 2018 email thread that included Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, the filing said. Google said the complaint has "inaccuracies and lacks legal merit".
