Gopi Thotakura becomes 1st Indian to fly to space as a tourist

Indian entrepreneur and pilot Gopichand Thotakura became the first Indian to fly to space as a tourist after Blue Origin launched six people onboard its rocket on Sunday. The NS-25 mission marked the first launch for Jeff Bezos-led company in nearly two years. Its New Shepard rocket was grounded after a mid-flight failure in 2022 during an uncrewed research mission.
