Government extends duty on solar glass imports from Malaysia

The government has extended duty on solar glass imports from Malaysia for another five years, a finance ministry gazette said. An investigation by the Directorate General of Trade Remedies concluded that the withdrawal of the duty would hamper domestic manufacturers of the product. Import duty on textured tempered glass or solar glass will range from 9.71% to 10.14%.
