Government planning to procure business jets for VIPs

The Ministry of Defence is planning to procure new business jets for transporting VIPs other than the President, Prime Minister and Vice President. The aircraft will replace the nearly 20-year-old fleet operated by the Indian Air Force and will be used by senior officials, including the chiefs of the Army, Navy and Air Force.
