India is rapidly strengthening its position in the biopharmaceutical sector and aims to become a global leader. Speaking at the 2nd Pharma Summit & Awards 2026 organised by ASSOCHAM in New Delhi on Friday Smt. Anupriya Patel, Union Minister of State for Chemicals & Fertilizers said Biopharma SHAKTI initiative envisages launch of 100 biologics by 2047.
