Government reduces export duties on diesel and jet fuel

Government revised the special additional excise duty on the exports of diesel and aviation turbine fuel (ATF). It reduced the levy on diesel from ₹55.5 per litre to ₹23 per litre and on ATF from ₹42 per litre to ₹33 per litre. There is no change in the existing excise duty rates on petrol and diesel cleared for domestic consumption.
