Government releases analysis of 183 Omicron cases recorded in India

The government on Friday released an analysis of 183 out of 358 confirmed Omicron cases in India and said that 70% of those analysed were asymptomatic. Additionally, 121 cases had a history of foreign travel while 87 Omicron patients were fully-vaccinated, government data showed. Three of those who tested positive for Omicron had taken a booster vaccine dose, it said.
