Government repatriates 286 Indian seafarers from Gulf region

The Directorate General of Shipping has helped repatriate 286 Indian seafarers from the Gulf, including 33 in the past 48 hours, the government said. Ports continue to monitor vessel movements and support cargo operations while ensuring safety of crews. Coordination with Ministry of External Affairs and stakeholders is ongoing to maintain maritime trade.
