Government scrap disposal earns over ₹5100 crore in 5 years

Over the past five years, Centre's special cleanliness campaigns across 24.20 lakh government sites generated ₹5,102.91 crore by disposing of scrap. The initiatives led to weeding out of over 180.48 lakh outdated files, reducing administrative backlog and freeing up extensive office space. Campaign 6 launches on October 2 to continue institutionalising workplace efficiency and cleanliness.
