Government's BHIM app faces issues within 24 hours of launch

In less than 24 hours of its launch, government's mobile payments app, BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money), started facing issues during setting up like incomplete OTPs and error in fetching bank account. The app is currently available for Android smartphones via Google Play Store. It enables users to make cashless payments using various digital modes, including debit and credit cards.
