Govt aims to divide Indian society: Congress' Gogoi on Waqf Bill

Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi, speaking after the Waqf Amendment Bill was tabled in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday, said the government "aims to divide Indian society" through this Bill. "The government aims to dilute the Constitution...and defame minority communities of India," Gogoi said. "Waqf Bill is an attack on the fundamental structure of our constitution," Gogoi added.
