Govt allocates ₹500 cr for AI Centres of Excellence for education

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the establishment of three Centres of Excellence (CoEs) in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for education with a budget allocation of ₹500 crore. "Artificial Intelligence is revolutionising industries across the globe...The proposed CoEs will serve as hubs for innovation, training, and deployment of AI-driven solutions in the education sector," she said.
