Govt allocates ₹2,600 cr for non-residential buildings in Central Vista

FM Nirmala Sitharaman allocated ₹2,600 crore for the construction of non-residential office buildings of the Central Vista project, including the Parliament and the Supreme Court in Budget 2022-23. The amount allocated this year is ₹767.56 crore more than ₹1,833.43 crore given last year. The Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry has also received ₹873.02 crore for residential purposes.
