Govt announces ₹25-lakh aid, job for kin of Vizag Steel Plant blast victims

Union Steel Minister HD Kumaraswamy announced ₹25-lakh compensation for the families of eight workers killed and ₹10 lakh for those injured in the molten metal explosion at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. He also promised a job to one family member of each deceased worker and support for their children's education. Treatment expenses of the injured will also be covered.
