Govt appoints executive directors for 12 public sector banks

The government has approved the appointments of 12 general managers as executive directors (EDs) of various public sector banks, as per a notification seen by Moneycontrol. Bank of Maharashtra's General Manager Sanjay Rudra will become Union Bank of India's ED, while Bhavendra Kumar will become Canara Bank's ED. EDs have been also appointed for PNB and UCO Bank.
