Govt asks fuel retailers to maintain 30-day LPG reserves amid West Asia tensions

Centre asked state-run fuel retailers to boost LPG storage and maintain reserves to meet at least 30 days' demand, amid supply concerns due to the West Asia conflict. Government is working to expand crude oil storage capacity, said Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary in the Petroleum Ministry. The government has maintained that India has enough stocks of petrol, diesel, and LPG.
