Govt asks Google to remove China's Ablo app over wrong Indian map

The IT Ministry and Survey of India have directed Google Play Store to remove Chinese video chat app 'Ablo' for wrongly depicting India's map. A government notice said Ablo misrepresented the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, and entirely omitted Lakshadweep island from the map. The distorted map "jeopardises the sovereignty and integrity of India", the notice said.
