Govt asks social media firms to check anti-India warmongering

IT Ministry has asked social media firms to ensure platforms are not being misused to spread content against India, in light of the recent Pulwama attack and capture of IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman by Pakistan. Earlier, YouTube was instructed to take down 11 videos related to Abhinandan. "Platforms shouldn't be...exploited to weaken the morale of the country," officials said.
