Govt begins eviction proceedings against Delhi's Sujan Singh Park

The Centre government initiated eviction proceedings against Sujan Singh Park's northern complex, saying its lease had ended in 1960. The Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry had issued an eviction notice to Sir Sobha Singh and Sons, the firm that runs the complex, on June 11. The firm moved Delhi HC against the breach of conditions in the lease.
