Govt body urges Indians to avoid Iranian waters amid possibility of US attack

The Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) has issued an advisory urging shipping companies not to deploy Indian seafarers to Iran until further orders amid the possibility of US attack on Iran. "Seafarers currently in Iran are advised to remain vigilant" and "strictly follow official advisories," DGS stated. Earlier, the Indian Embassy in Iran had asked Indians to leave the country.
