Govt calling special session on women quota for political gain: Sonia Gandhi

Congress leader Sonia Gandhi criticised the government for refusing to implement the women's reservation in Parliament from the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, while now rushing into a special session and delimitation. She alleged this urgency is aimed at "deriving political advantage" and "narrative management". She warned that delimitation is "extremely dangerous and an assault on the Constitution".
