Govt changes annual, quarterly GDP estimate release date to June 7

The Ministry of Statistics changed the release date of the provisional estimates of annual and quarterly GDP from last working day of May to June 7 or the previous working day. The decision was taken as key fiscal data of March becomes available after a two-month lag. The Ministry of Statistics said this revision would help strengthen data quality.
