Govt clears transfer of DRDO missile tech to local industries in major manufacturing boost

The Defence Ministry has approved the transfer of DRDO-developed technologies of all conventional missile systems to Indian industries for production within the country. "The objective is to enhance domestic manufacturing capabilities, strengthen the defence industrial base and create opportunities for participation of MSMEs and other technology partners in the supply chain," the ministry said.
