Govt compares money spent by foreigners in India and other countries

In its latest edition of New India Samachar, the government has compared the money spent by foreign tourists in India as compared to countries like Australia and US. Foreign tourists spend $1,700 (around ₹1.4 lakh) on an average in India as compared to $2,500 (around ₹2 lakh) in US and $5,000 (around ₹4 lakh) in Australia.
