Govt considering switching NEET exam from pen & paper to online mode: Report

Amid controversy over the NEET-UG examination, the government is considering the possibility of holding the test online from next year, the Indian Express reported. The exam is currently held in pen-and-paper mode where candidates mark their answers on an OMR sheet. The report said an online test was discussed in at least three high-level meetings called over the last week.
