Govt considers expanding India's fuel availability to cover 3 months of demand: Report

A medium-term plan to expand India's emergency fuel availability to cover up to three months of demand is under consideration, Moneycontrol reported, citing a senior government official. "Once the current situation stabilises...we need to look at increasing India's oil reserves to cover at least three months of demand," the official said. India currently has fuel availability for about 60 days.
