Govt debunks fake letter promising 78 days' bonus to railway staff

PIB has debunked a fake letter claiming that eligible Indian Railways employees would receive a Productivity Linked Bonus equivalent to 78 days’ wages for FY26. Railways Board clarified that it didn't issue the letter and that the document bears a forged signature. Railway offices have been directed to disregard the communication and ensure no payments are made based on it.
