Govt debunks fake news of 'three tick' system on WhatsApp, surveillance of calls

The government has once again dismissed claims of a new "three tick" system on WhatsApp, which allegedly uses one, two, or three red ticks to signal government monitoring, action, or legal proceedings on messages. The government also rejected claims of direct surveillance of all phone calls and social media messages. "No such rules have been implemented," the PIB stated.
