Govt directs banks to remain fully alert amid India-Pak conflict

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman directed banks to remain fully alert and prepared to deal with any eventuality or crisis amid the rising India-Pakistan tensions. Sitharaman urged banks and financial institutions to conduct regular audits of their cybersecurity systems over potential cyber attacks from Pakistan. Banks were also asked to ensure non-disruptive physical and digital services.
