Govt directs social media platforms to label AI-generated content

The government has asked social media platforms such as YouTube, X and Facebook to start labelling AI-generated content. The government has also set a three-hour deadline for such platforms to remove AI-generated or deepfake content if the court or government asks. The official notification also barred the platforms from suppressing or removing AI labels, according to DD News.
